Wales

WALES is home to 641 castles, more than any other country in Europe, less than 3 million people and 11 million sheep. This is the land of magic, myth and dragons. Escape to a country full of breathtaking views, quaint towns, Celtic heritage and endless culture. Here they speak Welsh, but they speak English too. Most of all, you’ll experience a friendly, “croeso.” That’s Welsh for “welcome,” and you’ll feel it everywhere you go in Wales.
The landscape of rolling hills, towering peaks and plummeting waterfalls together with medieval castles, deep mines, roads old and new and ground-breaking modern architecture all reflect a history of the conquest, exploitation yet amazing resurgence of an indomitable people. Enjoy the famous little trains of Wales as they take you on magical journeys through stunning scenery. The landscape also offers opportunities for all kinds of activities walking, cycling, climbing, golf, water sports and paragliding to name but a few. Wales has three National Parks (including Pembrokeshire Coast National Park the only coastal National Park in the UK), five Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and only 2.9 million people. Unlike national parks in some other countries, the Welsh National Parks aren't wildernesses, but living communities with beautiful countryside containing pretty villages and market towns.
Trisha has traveled throughout Wales and received the WALES SPECIALIST designation from the Wales Tourist Board. This country is a little gem that too many people pass by. it is absolutely glorious and should not be missed!
