Any one in travel who has NOT been to France, should not be known as a travel resource. Paris is wonderful and expensive, romantic and charming, busy and brimming with activity... and the perfect place to announce a big event , get engaged, pass a tough birthday, or renew romance in a marriage or love partnership. Paris is a long time favorite, just ask the ancient Romans who started the whole thing. They were here before the croissants and moules. However history has left a lot of wall paper here to have a meaning for any visitor. So many art museums beyonf the Louvre and D'Orsay, and Giverny is an hour away too. Restaurants? They have everything and more. Wines, Champagne caves, gourmet opportunities and yes, that Eiffel Tower.
I can tell you all about it as I have been there more than I have been to my locla library. However there is more to Texas-size France: The Loire Valley, the wine regions, the Normandy Coast, the Alps, and the seducive Provence and Cote D'Azur regions. Been there, done that, and damn well want to get back for France always has more. Call to discuss some "outside of Paris" thoughts and must sees like Mont St. Michel, Biarritz, Carcarcasone
