My Story:
The summer after my junior year in high school, at the age of 17, I was granted an incredible opportunity that would shape my perspective on the world: I was selected as a Student Ambassador for the People to People Student Ambassador Program. This program opened doors I never thought possible, allowing me to embark on a three-week journey across four European countries: Ireland, Wales, England, and France.
This experience wasn’t just about sightseeing; it was a deep dive into the rich tapestry of European cultures. Through hands-on experiences and interactions with locals, I learned about our shared history with each nation and gained a profound understanding of life outside the United States. It was an eye-opening experience that challenged my assumptions and broadened my horizons.
From exploring ancient castles in Ireland to walking the historic streets of London and marveling at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, every moment was filled with wonder and discovery. I made lifelong friends from around the world, and the memories we created together will forever be etched in my heart.
